Welcome to Växjö Vandrarhem Evedal!

Växjö is nicknamed "the Green city of Europe" and is located in the middle of south of Sweden. A very strategic and attractive location. Distance to Copenhagen is barely 3 hours by train and Stockholm may be reached in 50 minutes by flight!

The vandrarhem is located in Evedal, north of Växjö city centre. Evedal is a historic place known for its healthy water and recreational athmospere. The beach is only 50 meter away from our veranda.

Our busconnections to Växjö city are fairly good and it is easy to reach by car. Our carpark is for free.

The vandrarhem was built for over 150 years ago as a resort hotel for wealthy people who wanted to drink the healthy water in Evedal. Nowadays travelling people from all over the world meet here.

The building has been restored several times during the past years and teh latest big restoration was made in 2009.

Most of our rooms have a wash-basin in the room. Toilets and showers are located close to the rooms in each corridor. You may cook your meals in the well equipped guest kitchen, but for breakfast we hope you will enjoy our Delicious buffet!
